Hmm, body kit?

Anyone ever seen a Silver 98+ Camaro with a body kit painted flat black along with the berger panel? Any idea if it would look good? Anyone here good with photoshop? Let me know!

I have a buddy up north with a 00 red Z28 with silver ground effects. It looks really nice. But I think the berger panel looks out of place of the newer f-bodies so :tdown: to that. Also :tup: to you with a new idea.

OK, I googled real quick to find a Silver 98+ Camaro, and ended up finding a red one, quite similar to mine :P So after I didn't find any decent Silver pics, I googled for a red one to do mine, and found a decent silver one :P It's just a quick job, but you get the picture:

i dont like the idea at all. especially if your car has a black roof, the gloss black would look weird with a flat/satin black gfx kit. just go with body color.

i saw a blue third gen with silver gfx, i liked it a lot. so i started debating doing something of that sort with mine.

i was debating doing a black that fades into the orange. never actually got serious about it though.


i dont think it would look good with a silver car...

I've never liked the look of black ground effects, silver or some other colors work pretty well in most cases but black just looks out of place. Kinda like you just didn't get it painted or its somehow really dirty. From a distance you can tell something is there but it just doesn't look right, can't really explain it.

I thought I would like the idea, but after looking at the chop, it looks like there are no ground effects at all on the car since they are black. I say leave em' silver.

well its just a chop :).... I was thinking flat black berger, flat black body kit, flat black cowl hood... HMM maybe ill give it a try

Not sure about a flat black cowl hood.. particularly because it's a V6, but to each his own. It could look good. Do post pics if you go ahead with it.
