I don't hate life...I hate paying $3.06 a gallon. This is a silly price. Our cars were not designed for $3.00+ gas. Bush needs to invite King Fizal from Saudi Arabia
to his dusty ranch so they can hold hands again and take that walk around the ranch and tell the King that "he can't go for no $300 gas anymore"

I'm going to be putting the Hella 90mm Projectors in place of my fog lights and hooking up an HID kit to them. I think it will be a nice improvement over stock :)
I know it will be inefficient compared to the headlight placement, but I'm not hot on round headlights, and I need some more light without blinding everyone else. I'll probably end up aiming them straight out or possible just a touch down so they will be as effective as possible. that plus HID should do a pretty good job of replacing the headlights.
Guy named 99BlackMaro had some PIAA driving lights in his fog light area and used them instead of the headlights, said it did a better job anyway. I know it's not optimal, but i think it will work pretty good.
Only other option i'm considering is adding some smoked headlight covers (putting them back on) but that would cut down the light and would probably be about equal to the fog light area.
I agree but unfortunately there is zero after market for our lights aside from those stupid eurolamp conversions.
The hella 90mm projectors should do a great job of lighting the road, and they will be partially hidden behind my billet grill, so hopefully they won't be too noticeable. I think the FF75s look pretty decent, but i've found out they really aren't what i'm looking for.
I see, yeah they'll still definitely be better than the stock sealed beams. I'm running with PIAA bulbs and they're good enough until I have the money for HID's.
If you get the round ones and place them in the headlight placement and end up using the headlight covers, I've been looking into treated films that you can apply to anything that will darken when they're in direct sunlight and become clear when not. Meaning you won't lose any lighting performance at night. The only problem is that these films are expensive.
No, the darkening of the film is activated by ultra violet light. So unless your bulb is a black light... you'll be good. The material is called "photochromic"... searching through google I can only find patents for it, no products. So maybe it'll be awhile till they come out...
So my truck is finally getting some work done, after 17 years, Oil pressure sensor went out and it’s located under the lower intake manifold. Have to...
