  • Ebay's LED Taillights...

I've been out of the loop for a while, so these might be old and y'all may have already seen them.

Link(with pics of lights on the car)
Link(cheaper with better up close pictures)

Way better looking than any euros currently on the market IMO.

I'm considering getting these instead of finishing my LED taillights. I like the stock look better, but I'm going to nightshade them anyway so that won't really matter. These also will be a little cheaper than completing my LED taillights.

Does anyone have these? If so, how is the build quality and fit?

Look kinda cheap to me, would probably look good nightshaded or with some covers. If you've already started making your own LED tails I'd go ahead and finish 'em up, nothing like homemade mods (assuming you take the time and do them right).

I've actually been considering these with some niteshades as well. Even though my tail lights came out really nice, they started leaking, which caused shorts and all sorts of problems. I'm back with incandescents. Might put the LEDs back in, but I will need some brighter ones (yeah, 60,000mcds wasn't enough to shine through the stock lens in the daytime) and a lot more sealant. That or just get some luxeons.

Yeah, the fact that you can't see the lights in direct sunlight is what's driving up my cost. The stock taillight lens refracts the light too much. Luxeon are extremely bright and expensive... so I've been looking into using reflectors that are really efficient at dispersing the light. I may get these and then mod the housing. I've seen a Charger with LED lights made by the same company, and they were very bright. Hopefully they used the same ones in these.

I searched for this and only saw threads that TheGr8Schlotzky had made... none about these. Must have searched for the wrong thing...

For those of you that have made your own LED tails, have you thought about getting a cheap set of altezzas just to steal the clear covers off of? That might solve some of your problems, but then again you'll have to deal with the appearance aspect then. Just a thought.
