You should remove the ball from the old one and stick in on the shorty. That's what I did, looks better imo. Looks good though, :tup:Comment

how did you get it? kudos for you my friend. my brother tried getting me a plactis one off of a totled del sol (works at a junk yard) but i dont think it would look right.1998 Red T-top V6 Camaro

Followed your lead, cut mine up today. Instead of putting the ball back on I took the shortened antenna to the bench grinder and shaped the tip into a nice rounded tip and a little dab of paint. I'm liking it :) Thanks for the inspiration!
