how to instal a solar wing?

well i just got me a solar wing but dont know how to instal it i know u need 3m tape but im just try to figure out how to mount it? thanks

I would advise against the solar wing... or anything held on with double sided tape. It looks horrible and doesn't do anything but add a little reverse downforce in the back. (creates a slight vacuum over the rear deck)

set it on your roof, then drive it off the nearest cliff. Upon contact with the ground it will be molded into the rear of the car. Best way I know of to attach a solar wing to a fbody.

after googling pictures, my guest would be on the window next to the black trim. Also the wing didn't come with instructions and mounting hardware?

I would install it on the window itself... right below the trim

install it at the start of the glass on the rear hatch glass. from the top obviously. It looks nice, covers the black dots that look stupid, provides some shade and sets your car apart a bit from others. Nice pickup :rock:

yep just do it on a clean window. mine hasn't moved in over 3 years.

ya use rubbing alcohol to clean the window REALLLL welll

mine came off the first time haha
