No repsect!
I left work the other day and found that someone hit my car and left a huge dent in my rear drivers quarter panel! I hate people. You can't have anything nice without someone else messing it up. I was quoted $618 to get it fixed! Now I can't get my headers. This is weak. I'm tempted to just not fix it but I can't look at it without getting really mad. I'm sure some of you have had things like this happen to you. Now my insurance is going to go up. This sucks.

People are D!cks, when I had my paint job done. I would park out where no one parks and next thing you know I come out and someone had parked next to me and left one chip in the paint getting out and another getting in. Wouldn't that be considered vandalism, and could be covered by insurance without an increase in rates?
IMO if your rates are going to go up, pay to fix it yourself. You'll end up paying more than the cost to fix it with the extra cash you have to put down each month until rates go back down.Comment

As much as it sucks, I'd try paying for it out of pocket rather than going to your insurance company about it. Your rates would probably go up, and I've noticed body shops tend to do a better job when the repair is coming out of the customer's own pocket rather than their insurance company.Comment

Your insurance won't go up unless you are going to have your insurance cover it if it's in your policy.Comment

ssms5411 that sucks about your paint job man. I probably would've kicked a few large dents in their car for that or keyed "I'm sorry for messing up your paint job." into their hood.
Thanks for the advice guys. I think I'll look into paying for it myself right after I find out about the vandalism thing. Any way it goes it's gonna cost me a nice little chunk of money.Comment

If the vehicle was still there I would of done more than keyed their car or put dents in it. I was in a Dr. appt. and it took awhile. They were probably in and out of the building in a hurry, the vehicle was gone. I'm going to see if the paint shop can redo the rear quarter panel when they touch up my front end.
