Rims or security system

I dont know if i want to buy some 16 inch rims, No i do not want 17 or 18's.

OR if i want to buy a security system.

I dont have alot of money.
like 400-500 dollars.

i found a set of rims 478 shipped.
and i can get a security system installed for like 300. A good one.

What do you guys think?

Do you actually need/want the security system, or mostly just keyless entry?

I probably couldn't go without keyless, so i'd probably do that, and use the extra money for some other things. But if the wheels are nice, and you really want them, do that. Your call :)

You really don't need a security system. Ours are pretty decent. Hell an impact sensor AND a passkey. Get the rims!

I dont have the little thingy that plugs up, the sensor thingy for the security system.

But.
Can you guys give the the specs on rims that fit our cars?

i know they are weird.

offset i believe needs to be equal or greater than +46mm

I believe the security system on our cars are adequate. Get the rims, just not the ones you posted. Also I have a question for you, do you not want 17 or 18 inch rims because of the cost (or tires?) or just personal preference? Because on other forums like this people do sell them for 400 or less. Or you could get lucky like me :).

16 inch rims due to price for tires.
I just paid 580 for a set of tires, dont have money to put new tires on 17inch rims.

Anyone know any good 16' rims that fit our car and look good?

What kind of security are you looking at? In general, alarms are useless unless YOU are around to hear it go off... How many times do you hear an alarm, and just ignore it?

I don't see the point in getting the same size wheels. So either save your money for some 17s or get the security system.

Yeah, but it also helps the chance that somebody will be around and look. If I hear an alarm that sounds relatively close i'll at least look out my window.
