I just paid 580 for a set of tires, dont have money to put new tires on 17inch rims.

Anyone know any good 16' rims that fit our car and look good?

thats what I plan on getting come spring time...16inch version...they are on back order right now though...If you are going to get a security system get a 2 way pager and a kill switch...I have a clifford cause mine didnt come with a alarm system...I have a kill feature where if I have the alarm armed, I can hand you the keys and you still cant start my car...just because it kills the starter when the alarm is armed...the two way pager lets me know if there is an impact...I could go farther by getting motion and what not...but thats a little extreme for me...

Nobody is gonna rob/steal your ride. You have no bling showing. It's like breaking into a shack. Get some rims! Go with 17s or 18s. 16s, IMO are just a waste of time. They don't show off what 17inch+ size rims can. Just my .2 cents but good luck with whichever path you go!

Now I see your answer is price about tires for those bigger wheels. You could always buy used... and then get them checked out.

On another note about the security and your new rims you could always get Wheel Locks only like 20 bucks to protect 400. Good deal to me. I'd say save up and go for 17's if your going to get wheels but thats just my .02 cents.

I dunno man...personally another reason for me for why I wanna stay 16's...I dont know if your thinking the same, but for performance...16" rim is lighter then a 17...less rotational mass...and after I seen the difference my one piece alum driveshaft made over my 2 piece Im set on 16's....thats just my opinion though, and an answer to people asking why stay with the same size rim...in the end its all up to you man...depends on what you want outta your car...if you want soully looks then go 17" or even 18 and save up for em...if you want the best of both worlds IMO go with some nice 16's that no one has and be different...what ever you do...do it right the first time so you save yourself money...think it through
