couple questions

did 98 firebirds come with the dual outlet pipes or just 1 outlet pipe? are my tips stock? what is the brand of the tips?

and my 98 firebird has the ram air hood. is that stock or did the previous owner put it on there?

and heres a noob question. do trans am come with true dual exhaust or are they just 1 pipe with a muffler with dual outlets?

i think a trans am is just like a v6 but with a dual muffler. and eveything on ur car is not stock if that is a v6. the hood, rear bumper, hatch and muffler were all put on by the previous owner

i put the rear bumper/hatch on there. its a v6.

i thought i read once that some firebirds came with a ram air hood.

what tips are those? do those tips come with a certain muffler? because i dont even know what muffler i have. (maybe that'll help me figure out what muffler i have). looks like a stock muffler with no logo on it and sounds like a flowmaster but it isnt.

The W68 firebirds came with a single in, dual out muffler with tips, but I'm not sure if they looked like that.

V6s didn't come with the Ram Air hood.

T/As had a 2.75" single pipe to a dual outlet muffler.

in the ad when i bought the car.. it said "trans am/formula front".. he must've been referring to the hood.

Formulas had that bumper, and there were a few formulas that got the ram air hood.
