  • Decided to make my own decals.

I bought my decal from Batcave 8 years ago. After so many years the decals have faded, peeled, and cracked.

So instead of buying decals and spending like close to a 100 bucks I decided to buy a vinyl sheet for 10 bucks and start doing it myself. It was easier than I thought, but just very time consuming. Here's how I did it:

I used a red crayon broke it half and took the paper off of it. I then put a sheet of paper on the bird's symbol and Firebird title and started running the crayon against it till it made a good impression. I then used my artistic talent and started drawing over it. I made different sizes when I made copies from the Xerox machine in order to create decal for my wheels and side pillars. I then used this and traced it over the vinyl. I would say I am very pleased with the outcome.

Agreed. That car would look amazing with some 18 in. 5 spoke chromes on it.

Very nice. I need a new "Firebird" logo and text for the rear.

hmm... seems everybody likes it, but personally i think the decals look really crappy.

Very creative and impressive. not as good as precision cut vynals, but with a little practice no one could really tell.
