Not sure if I'll need a new whisper lid or not yet, or a new airfilter, but that was my solution though I'm still waiting on the hood.

does all firebirds come with that part you posted? mine has that and a ram air hood but i didnt think it had ram air.. does it?

Silver for sure. My bro had it on his black formula and then he put like chrome firebird stickers on the headrest of the seats and that looked sick!!!

you think silver would look good as a seat insert on black leather??

black and silver look good but I see what your saying about interior. I would go with red due to this factor.

The part you posted come two ways, on RAM AIR cars the opening for the air to enter is 1 inch taller then on V6 and NON RAM AIR V8 cars. The RAM AIR LOWER box works with the stock V6 lid and after market V6 lids. The RAM AIR lower box is too tall for stock non RAM AIR hood. The V 8 lids do not fit the throttle body of the V6 cars. I have both out in my garage, if I get around to it I will post pics of them side by side.

not alot of people like the look of red, id say a darker silver would look amazing on that hood... but its all in the eye of the beholder, make it how you want it!

thanks i got it on ebay for 1000 with a t/a airbox.
