carpet help & suggestions

I have been having some carpet that I bought from home depot that I would like to cut and apply in layers over the existing carpet in my car. My problem is that I would like to do it without using the adhesive spray. Is there any other type of way that I can lay this carpet I thought about velcro but I havent seen velcro pieces at the size that I need

I know this off subject but the cats in your picture makes me wanna buy one and I don't even like them that picture is one of a kind. I still gotta figure out a way to get this carpet in the car this is the speaker carpet that comes in black but home depot discontinued supposedly its a good thing I bought enough of it
