I think the red inserts will make a lot more sense once I have my calipers painted. I'm basically going for black on black with red accents, basically inserts and brake calipers.
ive been noticing that, a few of Iwannacamarosobad's posts have been way ahead, like quoting posts that havent even occurred yet... maybe he has a future career in the psychic business?
Okay i'll admit it, I'm a fortune teller, I knew before he starts posting LOL
I have red calipers as well, but I don't think the red inserts compliment them, as they are on separate parts of the car. IMO, a color as bright as red, should be fairly prominent as a accent color (red stripes). This excludes calipers, as I think red calipers can go with any color car. I think a more subtle colored insert would look better, especially with a mostly blacked out car like yours or mine. My gunmetal inserts don't draw too much attention, but present a little contrast over the black paint.
Again, this is just my opinion, but I think some gloss black inserts would look better with your setup.
I actually considered gloss black inserts, I may still go that route, but for now I'm happy with the red. I may go gloss black or some kind of silver when I cut out the front for the FMIC so I don't have to match anything in the back.
Actually... no. I need to take care of that. Right now it's the same set-up as a 97+ car, with the turn signal on the bottom and only the outside lights up for the brake... I'll take care of that wiring this weekend. I didn't think it would bother me, but it really does after I was behind a pre-97 earlier today.

I def. wanna see pics when ur done lol maybe time u 4 ways or a cid lol (vid is easier I do believe)
I did the wiring today to make the turn signal bulb work with the brake light, it was a LOT easier than I thought it would be. Other than removing the tail lights and everything associated (trim panels, spare tire, etc...) it took maybe a minute a side to do the actual wiring. It sounds a lot more complicated than it really is, especially if you use clamp tap-ins like I did. I'll snap a couple shots when it gets dark.
I don't understand why you put in LT1 tail lights...I think you downgraded your car. Should have just done the red inlays in the back and kept the stock tail lights and should not have done the berger panel. The point of a flat black berger panel when you have a black Camaro? I just don't see the point.
Haven’t done anything on the Camaro, but put LEDs on my truck headlights . And my oil pressure sensor went out on the truck so going to fix that this...
