Berger and LT1 Tails are in...

Well, not completely yet, I ran out of time since I had to re-spray the Berger panel, but no big deal, I'll get it finished tomorrow. In the mean time, here are some pictures of what I got.

First thing I did was sand the letters off the tails and polish them up nice.





The Berger panel isn't quite as flat as it looks in the pictures, but rest assured it's flat black. I'll be finishing it off with red inserts to match the front before it goes on tomorrow, then I'll shoot some pictures of the end result.

Woah, how did his post end up before mine? odd...

have you dremeled the sockets on the tails to get the bulbs to fit perfect? i heard you have to do something like this. i got a lt1 set for xmas, but i havnt installed mine yet.

not necessary, i just used a pair od dikes and clipped off the tab

I used a razor knife to cut down the socket a little bit so the bulb goes in. Meaty told me you have to do some cutting and splicing to get the right sockets :rolleyes: bah! I'll have pictures up shortly, just need to upload them real quick.

...and... my wheels came! But alas, they're the wrong size... I ordered 17x9.5, and ALL 4 are 18x10.5, I was wondering why they looked so outrageously wide... So I'm sending them back to get the right ones.
