    nope

i think i used new screws for mine.

mine stock bumper had alot of push pins i think.. those were a pain to get off so i broke some of them.

How do you remove the rear bumper? Should I go buy new(picture/name?) pins incase they break off for me too? Thanks

Re: Trans Am Rear Bumper Swap

man, the rear bumper is EASY to change out...I had the old one off and the new one back on in about an hour. The only thing that I ran into is, the wiring harness for the tag light. Im not sure if its just that I got it hung up on something or if the T/A bumper puts the tag a bit lower, but the harness seemed to be a wee bit tight. Keep an eye out for that when you do the swap. As for breaking off pins or whatever while doing the swap, I dont remember any, but just go slow...itll turn out nice.

Yep nothing different. Just make sure you have the metal plates on the sides, otherwise you will just have to yoink them off the old bumper.

the plastic cover goes over the styrofoam absorber, and the bumper itself

Yo! I'm residing in Wood River. We should meet up sometime. I'm probably going to purchase the T/A hatch and rear bumper sometime soon.

Hey man. Are you driving a silver firebird? I've seen one driving around. If you have seen a black firebird with a ram air hood and tinted windows that's me:wavey: lol PM if you have aim or myspace!

How do you PM on here? I have a black bird, check my profile. How much did you pay for your ram air hood?

So do I need new hydraulic shocks due to the extra weight of the spoiler for the T/A hatch?

I dont think so...I used the same ones that came with my car originally. GM Parts Direct is only showing one listing for 94-02. Oh and they're only $37 plus shipping.
