  • Buying New Seats, Need Opinions!

Hey Everyone, I'm looking into buying new seats since the guy who owned my car before was fat as hell and broke the driver seat. I have to lean forward every time I drive, just so I can see out the front windshield.

So, I was looking at these seats on Summit and was wondering if you guys think this would be a nice choice.

Well, a set of Leather Seats on Ebay can be as much as like $700. For these two seats, I'm paying $320.

haha, yeah. I actually may just go with something I found on ebay. Its a listing for the two front bucket seats that match the color of my seats for $200.

Thats even cheaper than the racing seats.

i'd go with the leather ones. cause if you decide to ever sell your car it wont look too modded.

plus add the fact that youre going to have to buy/fabricate mounting brackets for those seats. the summit seats anyways.

good seats arent cheap and cheap seats arent good.

those pics look like theyre from a 3rd gen... they are a direct bolt in though. not bad for $200

It says they're universal seats though...

i caught myself on that one, edited for the summit/ebay difference.
this is true, they are universal (the matrix seats) in the fact that you can buy the adapter kit to make them fit in 90% of vehicles. call summit and ask em.

a former boss of mine bought the very same seats and found out there was an adapter kit required. even better part is there wasnt an adapter kit available for his car.

im not to sure about seats, but that may mean it will fit... with the right bracket... but if they do bolt up like camarojeff said... it looks like a good deal, looks alot more comfy than the racing ones, and cheaper
