Does anyone have tinted (film) blacked out tail lights?
I actually not only bought them but I just installed them 30 minutes ago. They were definitely a lot easier than the VHT would have been, and it looks good. It's a vinyl tint so you can stretch it and heat it up with the contour of the lights. I'll try to get some pics in a second.
Re: Does anyone have tinted (film) blacked out tail lights?
That auction contradicts itself. Says they are "Tinted at only 17%. Allows 83% of light passage." If they are infact tinted at 17%, that means it allows 17% light passage, if they are in fact tinted at 83%, the tint would be almost invisible.
VHT was easy and I think mine look great, but I'm sure tint looks good as well.

Looks good! Looks similar to mine.
Do you plan on doing the same to your sidemarkers and corners? I think it would look real nice with the whistler mod and some tint. I like the ghost flames as well.
Re: Does anyone have tinted (film) blacked out tail lights?
Well I am painting my calipers once I get new discs (my current ones are warped), and I also want to tint my windows.. I will probably do it myself because a major tint dealer lives in my city. He does everything from his home and it's all pre-cut and stuff. I can get that for like $80. I don't know if I am going to do the dark side markers I haven't decided yet..
But the number one thing on my list right now is trying to find an HPTuners. I think I might have one in line from LS1tech but i'm not sure.
Eventually I want to go FI (turbo). This is way down the road though, but I am planning ahead, and HPT can do alot even for a semi-stock bolt-on car.
I also want to try that whistler mod. It almost gives it that C6 Z06/ferarri light look. I don't know if I would do black, or match my NBM.

Yeah I can peel it off. Might need goo-gone of course, but it's just like normal tint, except it's vinyl so it's easier to work with/remove. That seller shipped fast too I got it in like 3 days.
