my plastic ring on my shifter is broken how can i get another one or make one?

someone on LS1tech makes custom metal ones.. do a search, he sells them for about $20.. it may be cheaper, im not sure

mine is messed up too, actually the plastic isnt even on there, the boot is just laying there

Last I checked, he's only doing ones for the 97+ consoles, but he may be doing them now. His name is famer2 at ls1tech. He wants like $18 or something for them, here's a link:

I had the same problem with my firebird. Im too cheap to buy a new ring though so I just crazy glued the boot on there very carefully and it doesnt look bad, its just gonna be hard to get it off without damaging it now lol.

That metal ring is cheap and won't break next time you take it out. it's the perfect solution :D

I just emailed them and told them what I needed and that I was a memeber of LS1tech.
