Sorry if this is up a million times, but...what does it take to convert to a T-top?

    Re: Not a new question...

good question. nobody told me until after i did mine.

    2 t-tops
    2 weatherstrippings
    1 center divider bar
4 brackets (to lock the t-tops in)
    2 a-pillars
    2 b-pillars
    1 roof interior headliner

u can find all of that on ebay. or go on ls1tech.com and post in the Wanted section and you can find all of that (Exept t-tops) for 150. or get it all off ebay or a junkyard.

    tools i used
walmart dremel with real little cutting wheel for the fiberglass roof
walmart dremel with a metal cutting wheel to cut out the 'weld spots'
electric saw to cut off the metal parts of the roof
    flathead screwdriver
    razor knife
    safety glasses

        Re: Not a new question...

do a search for t top conversion, looks like JumpINTheFire helped you out alot there but there is soo much information on the website already on how to do this, what you need etc..

Links to other websites and so on.

Searching can often answer your questions alot faster.

              Re: Not a new question...

looks like a week-long project. I noticed that no welding was needed. Thats a relief. Tinker auto hobby shop doesn't have any welding tools...
