I just installed an SLP Cold air intake in my Camaro and here are some pics.
I know I need to clean the engine bay is really dusty. I will try and do that tomorrow or next week. Now I need to find a good exhaust system to install any suggestions.
nice looks good. Can you tell a difference between that and factory? Is there a difference in sound? I personaly just like the 2.5" flowmaster cat back. The Magnaflow would be my next choice.
Sweet I am buying one of those soon. I will have a flowmaster 80 series on my car, but I hear Magnaflow makes a good cat back for a reasonable price. SLP, Corsa, and Borla are nice too if you can afford them. Look around, I know I saw a magnaflow catback for sale around here somewhere...
Thanks for the good coments. I actually bought it from someone on this board in the for sale setion for $87 shipped. I have not really noticed that much of a performace on it but it does sound a little better.
i have the exact same cold air intake and my car is white.
i love it, and go with a exhaust setup now :D
I took the pic today right after i got back from driveing the car around. And yes I know I have to get an exhaust system. I am leaning towards getting the magnaflow system. But still not sure.
hey man nice intake, I bought a magnaflow catback and I love it, everything about the kit is great, the fitment, the 2' of chrome tip that you get so you don't see weld seems, and the exhaust note is great, doesn't get raspy at all, unless you rev really high. While your at it, buy a high flow cat, and an 02 sim, when you put the exhaust on, it will save you from having to do it later. Best thing about the magnaflow kit, is all you need is a couple wrenches, and maybe a sawzall if you have one.
Hey everyone! I've been trying to remove my transmission for two days now! I need to replace the clutch. Only thing I've got left holding the transmission...
Hello, so I changed the front bearings on the bird and the ABS inoperative light came on. I made a mistake of not removing negative battery cable. Now...
I usually have to double, triple my headlight switch for them to come up on my 97 Firebird. I cleaned all connections. Could it be the headlight switch...
