    Re: Chrome or Black?

I say if you have clear corners and chrome inserts and stuff like that go with chrome, but if you have blacked out lights and corners i say black with chrome lip. I second the fact that the all black look weird.

Either way it will look good.

I've seen both on the Firebird. For some reason black doesn't look good on the bird. It looks better on the Camaro, but not the bird. Maybe it does depend on the wheels.

For now I say chrome, just the way you have it.

            Go chrome or go home!

On a side note if you choose black wheels because you tell yourself... well I didn’t want chrome because they are a heavier wheel and will hurt my performance... I suggest you need more HP!

i dont know if i like the thin spokes. The stock ones look really nice thickness wise. I dont know, take a look at whats out there and maybe even on that Brent Franker guys website, he has a section of mods and i think theres ones for firebird rims or something, to see how they look.

Just an example of what your car would look like if you followed the "Spray Can King" 's guide to paint your rims...

I think it looks pretty good, and think, a couple of bux to paint them, and if you really dont like them... you end up buying the C5 rims anyways

That's pretty nice. I like the red calipers. You just made this chrome or black decision harder, haha but thanks for giving me an idea of what black would look like. If I do get new rims it won't be till the summer, or I stumble upon a good deal.

I usually have to double, triple my headlight switch for them to come up on my 97 Firebird. I cleaned all connections. Could it be the headlight switch...
