Just work on getting some arm strength incase you do get into a wreck. I got into one in a 84 GMC, no airbags, just wearing a seat belt, a split second before it happened I braced myself for impact and thank God nobody had any injuries.

        Re: New (Old) Steering Wheel

Rather than starting a new thread, I thought I would just tag onto this old one; I was searching through the various threads on steering wheels, and still haven't found the answer to my question, which is: did any of the fourth gen Camaros come with a smaller diameter wheel than what my '02 3.8L did? If not, has anyone ever found another compatible GM wheel (Corvette?? Cobalt??) that is smaller than our stock wheels?

The one in this thread is nice, but doesn't look to be any smaller than mine, which is just too big for my size (6'4", 260 lbs) in a car that will see track time. I'm not hung up on keeping the air bag, and will go aftermarket if necessary, but I would prefer to get something OEM if possible. I remember a friend many years ago who had a '77 Z28, and I thought that was the nicest factory wheel I had ever seen. I would love to find something like that. Anyway, any ideas would be appreciated.
