I didn't see your post in time. I already had a Trans Am spring that came with my hatch. I just went ahead and tried that and it worked.

I ordered a hatch from a guy on another forum, if I have trouble with the spring I'll definately give that fix a shot.

I've done it again. Do you guys think that I got a good deal? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...m=120255832998
Check out my new rims that will soon be on their way.

        I'm gonna need new tires aren't I?

        I also got this. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...m=200219802775
I'm hoping to be able to get the leather off and be able to put the steering wheel leather on my wheel. Any advice?

why? Just go to target and buy a steering wheel cover that you like, and I would avoid leather. It gets really f***ing hot in the sun. I like mine, came with the car actually and its like faux woodgrain with grips for when its sweaty and slickery.

You really paid $900 for wheels with no tires? You really need to shop around a lot more...you can find used sets of those on LS1tech for 500, tires and shipping included.

              I'm gonna need new tires aren't I?
if you don't have 17x9 wheels already, then yes.

You'll love the Speedlines...now get some meat on those wheels. 275/40/17s...I prefer Nitto NT555s.

I paid $800 for my set back in 03'...they were used with only 3000 miles on them. The guy I bought em from wanted ARTTIIs.

Re: TA Hatch and TA Rims

Do guys have any suggestions for new tires? What came stock on WS6s?

I've heard good things about BF Goodrichs. What do you guys think of those?
Even though all of my rims are 17x9, there's still a way to have bigger wheels in the back than in the front, right? The guy I got these rims from said that 275/45/17 in the front and 285/45/17 for the rear would work perfectly for me. He recomended Kumho MX tires.

What do the 285 and 45 numbers refer to? Thanks for all your guys' help. :)

Re: TA Hatch and TA Rims

I have BF Goodrich Traction TAs on my fronts and am ordering those for my rears. I get ok all around traction now, but I know a lot of my traction problem stem from still having the factory Eagles on my rears.

285- width of tire tread in millimeters
45- Aspect ratio of the sidewall compared to the width
