so i have never waxed a car before, but i recently got it painted, and i want to take REAL good care of it. so i thought i would start out really simple, with a spray on wax. you kno the ones where you just spray on after you rinse and wipe off. i figure thats pretty easy i can't mess that up to easily. you guys have any tips for me? or could u recommend a brand to use? keep in mind i'm just running out to auto zone today to get it. any tips would be great. thanks!

                        Re: wax

I have yet to find a wax that I really like over another one. I've tried just about everything they sell in the average autoparts store, so Zaino is next on my list.

I found that Meguires NXT Tech Wax seems to wash off after only a few car washes.

I am going to back to old faithful - Meguires Gold Class Wax.

Turtle Wax gets my vote. Meguairs does a good job, but it's an easy wax on, hard when waxing off. Also, wait a month or two after having it painted before putting wax on the car. Buddy of mine got his car painted, put wax on it 2 weeks later and the new paint started coming off. Luckily he had a 10k mile warranty on it.

Ice spray one wax works good for me.
