  • shift knob?

Where's a good place online to get a after market shift knob? I don't like the stock one and I don't want to spend a lot of money on it. I checked all the part stores around here but didn't really find anything.

you can go to thunderracing.com and buy the MBA knobs they have there, but I prefer the Hurst or SLP leather wrapped knob you can find at http://www.afterthoughtsauto.com/fir...nsmission.html

im guessing this is for a manual car?
i would go with the hurst/slp knob.
The metal ones tend to get hot in the summer

I know on www.WS6store.com they sell manual and auto shift knobs, and they have a pretty good selection. they are under the driveline section.

to convert from an a4 knob to any 2" shift knob, go buy this:

                    http://www.ws6project.com/user_stor/...9205cfab3e6145

                    only 15 dollars.

I got mine out of a Grand Prix. Shifter and boot fit perfect. Cost $10 from the junkyard, and even came with a little button on the side (was for overdrive) that you can hook up for whatever.

Feel free to ignore the hideousness of the front of the console. I've since replaced the old 2nd Gear Start button with the newer 97-02 style and have replaced the cig lighter.
