He just combined the upper portion of the 93-97 fenders with the lower portion of the 98-02 fender. Could probably be done fairly cheap since you could just buy broken fenders to do it. Most people would probably just charge you shipping for those.
I have a drivers side fender with the section that would be cut out that is damaged so it would be perfect for this if you go through this.
I doubt its possible without massive fabricating and such. But is there a huge difference to the 98+ firebird front fenders and the 97 fenders? I like the look of the 97's but I also like the side vents on a 98. So pretty much, how much work would it take to convert just the hood and nose of a 98+ to a 97, leaving the front fenders. (If possible.)
sell your 98+ and buy a cheaper 97 and put some vents in it.
Way easier than putting a 97 nose/hood on a 98+ and you wont lose money (might come out ahead). My 2cents
The side vents on the fenders really set off an agressive look for the car, I say buy a set of 93-97 fenders and a set of 98-02 fenders and give it a shot. This way you don't have to risk something going wrong if you try it on your car's current fenders.
93-97 look better when the headlights down, but I can't stand how they come to a point when they are up, kinda looks like the car is about to cry or something.
well, i have a v6 97 bird right now, and i want to get a 98+ v8 model because they have way lower miles and i like the ls1 better than the lt1. I will probably end up just switching over the noses of my cars because i will have the 97 and 98+ at the same time so i have all the parts. then i can cheat some guy into buying my "98+" firebird thats actually a 97, haha.
Sorry this is a lil off topic, but does anyone have a list of the part numbers required to switch the front end from 93-97 to the 98+... mainly I'm looking for part numbers for the fender and headlight brackets...
Rebuilding the engine... Building a custom front end... T-top conversion... Custom rear hatch..
Custom interior...
just buy an entire front clip. they sell for like 1000+ so be prepared to dish out some cash. they're on ebay all the time. my .02

I understand its just your 2 cents, but thats completly the opposite way the guy wants to go. Unless your talking about a 93-97 front clip.
He wants the front of the 93-97, with the side fenders of a 98+.
From the looks of the car domain pictures, go find a 98+ firebird get the fenders, and cut out the vents, then weld em up to the 97 fender. Make sure the lines are even.
Haven’t done anything on the Camaro, but put LEDs on my truck headlights . And my oil pressure sensor went out on the truck so going to fix that this...
