  • To berger, or no?

Should I do a berger? Not necessarily the standard flat black berger, I'm thinking glossy since my tails are somewhat glossy, as are my 3800 decals, and my stripes will be when I get them. Here's my question, my dad has a black 97 Z-28. We're doing an inverse theme between the two; mine's red with black accents, and his is black with red accents. What if I just swap the panels between the two? I think it might look decent, but just wondering your guys' $.02

BTW- that antenna is gone, it was just a temp. thing

Idk I like it how it is, the berger might be overkill, but then again it could look amazing.

Well, seeing as how it would just be a few hours of work to swap the two, if I didn't like it, I could swap back. I may just put it on and see how I like it one day.

a few hours? haha. it takes maybe 5 minutes. just a few wing nuts/2 bolts iirc!

i think it would look good. not so sure about the red on the black car though.

I say swap them out, take some pictures, decide if you like it, and go from there.

Personally I think your car looks great right now, and the berger might be a bit much, but I'd have to see it. The red on black..i'm not sure about that one...

i've got ~150-200lbs of stereo in the trunk that I alone will have to move, unwire some of the amps to get to the screws, plus get my car out of the shed to do it.

either stripes, berger, or black outs. more than one of each and it's over kill and looks bad

Any chance you can make it glossy black and get rid of the 3800 decal?
