for those of you that haven't been following along.. i wrecked my 00 supercharged camaro, bought a 97 body, swapped the engine/tranny/interior/etc into it and then threw a turbo in it. me and my friend eric are doing all of the body/paint work ourselves. we worked out all of the imperfections and went from 100 grit up to 600 grit, rattle can primer on everything, and then we will use a spray gun for the base and clear coat later in the week when the weather is better. so far it is going pretty well and looks like it should turn out nice for only a 300-400 dollar paint job including materials/paint/supplies. here are some progress pictures:
yea the 97 car cost me $1,000 with a blown upper intake gasket. i sold the engine for 350, and front seats for 100, so really the 97 car cost me like $550.
i didnt fill in the holes on the front bumper because a grill is going over them anyway. :)

haha yea, we were joking about that earlier. we should just make a little bed out of it and have those rear quarter panels be like little wings like on a bel-air. haha
