so far everything on the car has a base coat, and we will be doing clear coat tomorrow. the quarter panels and door jambs and rocker panels came out nicely but the top sail panel that we were painting black had some issues that we will have to work out tomorrow before we clear everything, but as promised... here are some pictures from tonight. its 4 AM and i want to go to sleep now..

                            Re: paint progress pictures

thanks guys. from here on out we have to only work on the car on the weekends because of college, so for the next two weekends we will be finishing the paint job. then after its completed i will have to get the exhaust hooked up to the downpipe and start tuning it. so as a estimated finish dated...hopefully by may 1st the car will by dyno and/or track ready.

today we finished spraying the base coat on everything and layed down a few coats of clear. came out pretty well... only a little bit of orange peel. so we are going to dry sand it down to a haze with some 600grit and then respray a layer of clear and it should be perfect. if not, its nothing a little buffing wont take care of!

                            here are some pics:

                            more updates next weekend!
