i was kidding... just because so many people mentioned it earlier in the thread.
car looks SICK! great job. (key FOB does too.... i think i might go do mine now. i just happen to have some paint laying around. did you prep it and all?)
yea sanded it down with 800 grit, rattle can primer, used a touch up gun/air brush to paint it. 1 thick coat base, 1 thick coat clear. tada!
Oh my gosh! That looks so beautiful! I'm typically not a fan of those exhaust tips, but they work REALLY good with that MQB. I really dig that man. :tup:
With only 1 coat of base and 1 coat of clear... Thats a nice shine... Use a polish #7 to REALLY bring out the shine! but be carefull, with one coat of clear, there is the higher chance to burn through the clear...

haha we used 3-4 coats of base and clear on the car. when i was talking about 1 thick coat of base and clear i was talking about the key fob remote! haha.

Had to be evacuated Monday again after a fire was going on the hill behind us. Only 3-4 hours, they did a good job getting it under control. Especially...
So went out to start the Camaro and no start, batteries are good just hear a thud sound, started up fine last Friday. Check the fuses and the battery...
Working on getting my 99 Camaro back in action. Long story short, got parked in the garage about 5 years ago (kids, career stuff ect.) trying to get her...
I have a 15 year boy now (crazy how time flies from when I was a teenager on here!) and his first car will be the old Camaro.
