plan on having them held on by velcro, would it be safe to stick the velcro to tint or is that a bad idea?

its not just factory tint, i had 20 thrown over it.

if i try and take off the velcro after a while, won't rip off the tint will it?

Why don't you just try to find some used. I bought my set for like $35.
