    I just waxed my and then drove it on the windyest day of the year on sanded roads. now my car is covered in waxy grit.

    uh

    should I do anything before wash so as not to scratch? clay comes to mind but its really convient that I dont have one...

    Hmm... might try a no touch car wash.. The sand shouldn't have stuck though if you got the wax off correctly.

          are you using elementary school paste as wax? No wax I've ever used has caused dust/dirt to stick to the car...as a matter of fact, it did the opposite

                        thanks for your help.
                        I think I'm gonna try the open ended hose and then if that doesn't work, put the sprayer on.

                        Note to self. Buff immediately.
