  • wierd car cleaning products?

just thought i'd see what type of products you all use on your cars that may be unconventional, kinda like how i use a glass cleaner called Invisible Glass on my wheels, and it really works quite well...i also used tire foam, dont recall the brand, on a stain in my passenger seat and it drew it right out...

those may not be soo unconventional, but chime on in and share some of ur secret car care products with the board!

I use about 1:5 vinegar to water mix to take off waterspots.
Apply, wipe, rinse with 100% water, wipe and its shiny as ever. Try not to use too often, as may take off a little wax.

Also I'm doing work on my decals and am in the process of removing some of the old. I use mineral spirits which doesn't hurt the body paint to much if it spills. Smells kinda funny though. And it eats wax, if you get some on your finish, you will have to re-wax.

Rain X is basically alcohol in water (as are 90% of cleaning products, just different kinds of alcohol. rainx is probably isopropanol, makes water bead up.)
rinse off after you use it and its fine.
