Painted black or no?

Should I paint my rims black or no. They're shooters so I think black would go nice. If you don't like black what color do you suggest?.

unless you go with a black theme, such as taking off the pinstripes or making them black, mabey tinting your windows, blacking out your tailights... something to compliment your black... i think it would look good, but as it sits now, i voted just clean em up... they would look nice either way

First figure out what kind of theme you want for your car. If you want a black theme, go ahead and remove the pinstripe or replace it with black if you like, paint the wheels similar to what TheGr8Schlotzky did, and look into VHT for the markers and taillights or a berger panel. Not sure if you should paint the roof black, it's not a Z. But it's your car and money, so do what you like with it. That's all that matters. :)

If not a black theme, then either take off or leave the silver pinstripe and keep the salad shooters the way they are. Maybe some clear corners if you don't have them already.

Thought about clear corners never put any effort into it though, I am taking the pin stripe off and eventually putting a 98+ front on it so I guess the rims are semi temporary and yes i am following Thegr8Schlotzky's rim pattern with the black with a polished lip.

Thought about doing the LED thing though I forget what they are I think its marker lights im not for sure

and VHT nightshade for taillights (kind of like blackouts, but you spray it on... only like ~$10 bucks

yea... with nightshade the taillights still work at night, and you can adjust how dark/light you want the tinting... pretty cool if you ask me

Why the 98+ front end? It looks good as it is. And if you got a berger panel where the black paint matches the black around the headlights...:drool: would look mean.
