well i was useing night shades, but it wasnt dark enoughf bacause i could still see red behind it, and i wanted the lights to be as dark as my rear windows, so i took it off and prayed them with one coat of regular paint bacase i hate working with night shades it never sprays out of the can right and i always make a huge dripy mess. it was dusk when i finished clearcoating so it looked fine when i tested it but then i tryed it durring the day in the sunlight and you can barly see the lights. (i went to thick) theres cracks in my tasil lights, so now im thining about takeing the paint off and puting a plastic blackout cover on it. has any one used plastic blackout covers? im tyring to figure out if there dark enoughf to be black and not smoked but not to dark. i guess it depends on the percent of tint the cover has right?

I have some GTS blackout covers on mine. They are pretty black but you can still see the light through them. you really have to be careful when you want to go with a very dark, black out. your run a high risk of people not seeing your break lights. also the headlights will have to fight harder to hit the roadWAWA-A-HOLIC
