so yesterday it was nice out and i washed my camaro in my driveway. so whatever i wash it, dry it just the same as i always do and i look after and my hood is FULL of swirl/scratches. its ridiculous. weird thing is, I washed the entire car the same way, but only the hood has anything on it. I dont know what happened.
but point is, what I can buy to get rid of the swirls and scratches without having to buy a buffer.
nu finish scratch doctor or meguiers mirror glaze swirl remover. both really need to be applied with a buffer but some elbow grease wouldnt hurt it. even if you have a cordless drill you can buy a pad that goes on the drill. follow that up with a quality wax and it should be lookin good.
maybe you got some sand or something nasty on the sponge?
yeah im sure it was something like that. it was horrible though, first nice day in a real long time. i skipped my evening class so i could enjoy the weather because im sure itll be gone again soon. go wash my car, gets scratched up. also, while washing my right fender, i noticed like a 3 inch crack in it!!! i have no idea where it came from.
thats what i get for skipping class to enjoy the weather i guess
