Re: Painting the mirros and door jam

    prep, prep, prep...

Completely sand the parts to be painted. if paint is chipping off, then sand all th e paint off. could of been a hack job.

do a search, I have type a TON of things that people need and a lil advice.

get a good 2 part primer and ppaint/clear. go to your local auto paint supply place. they will direct you in the right direction in paint and supplies. remember, you get what you pay for in paint. the BIGGEST part in painting is the prep work. and well of course the clear.. but let me know when you get to that point. sand them smooth, prime, seal, base paint, and clear. you'll be fine. just take your time and dont rush it.

you'll need a good paint gun, but dont buy an expensive gun if you plan on just doing ur car. get a gravity fed HVLP from lowes/ home depot/ ebay.

you'll need a water sep that attaches to the hose/gun
