who has the dot matrix t-tops ? get in here

I Found a local deal on them. someone told me that are different from a 97 because they have a drip trim on them or something. Can someone shed some light on this thanks.

Not sure on the years, but older years had the dot matrix "tint" on them. Look like this: (tiny dots everywhere)



Ealier (I'm presuming from 98+ because i have a 98) just looks like regular tint.

I have a 97 camaro and my t tops have normal tint.

hmm.. anyone have a pic ? i read on ta creations that the dotted have a 1/16" moulding while the others have 3/16"

ill try to get a picture for u but i did a t-top conversion and the junk yard only had one of each lol it looks really retared one being dotted and one not but they still fit just fine

My '97 bird tops non dot fit on my buddies '94 camaro. They are interchangeble. I saw no difference.

only diff is the drip trim. will have no effect on your 97... personally I dont like the DOTS..

Yea thats what i knew just wanted to know if that drip trim was a necissity. Reason i ask is someone local has a great deal on the dotted ones and i can care less. Just trying to get some parts for the conversion

i hear that.. no its no big deal about that trim... besides, its something that can be swapped out if im not mistaken.

My drivers side top has the dot matrix but my passenger doesn't have it. Looks pretty funny, but I got some t-top shades to cover that up.
