The Novus Polish package finally made it through the mail this weekend and I finished my headlights. I used the write up linked to LS1tech, with a little variation. My headlights were in awful shape so I started out lightly with a 220 grit and moved up to 400, 800, 1000, 1500, 2000, and finished with a 3400. Then used the 3-step polish and topped it off with a coat of Mother's Gold Class wax that I had lying around. There are still a few scratches from the lower grits, but other than that they're clear. Not really concerned with them being perfect, I just wanted them to be able to put out enough light to drive safely at night. At least until I order some halos this summer. Overall, it took about 4 hours per headlight and wasn't a hard job. Next time I will buy halos though. And now, the pics...
