What is your Favorite Car Wax !

Alright guys,

Here's a chance to share with everyone how you keep your baby shinin' pretty. Just tell us what you use, why you like it, where you can get it, cost, etc... I'll start

I'm a fan of Meguiars Gold Class Paste Wax and NXT Paste Wax in their Retail Line, Hi-Tech Yellow Paste Wax in their Detailer's Line. The Retail line can be found at any auto/retail store, and runs $10-$20 per can depending on which one you get. $14 for the Hi-Tech yellow. I like the Gold Class because it has a really high gloss shine, the NXT because it gives a really deep, rich color to my black paint, and the Hi-Tech Yellow because it lasts forever. But I usually only use the Gold Class.

I use collinite 476s on my car. It cost $16 and last forever. I put on a coat last October and it is still beading like crazy. It isn't the best looking wax, but it looks good and has that warm carnuba glow. If you drive your car year round I highly suggest it as a winter wax. I think I'm going to try out some S100 this summer and see how I like that.

Good god...my wax costs $10 haha. I use the Ice Wax.

meglaris gold wax is ther best brand iv'e used, but i haven't tryed mothers. Is NXT or gold class better for a teal car?

Zaino on the malibu and NXT on the Firebird. Haven't touched the Crown Vic with wax yet... but sometime this summer I will probably put on some NXT after claybar.

Is it bad I can't tell the difference??? I use Meg's, NXT, Turtle Wax... & etc.

A well waxed, well taken care of, car will look about as good as its going to look.

Some waxes will perform differently based off their chemical compound..(some have higher concentrations of caranuba, some using a different type wax, etc.

I'm sure you'd see the difference between a pure high concentrate caranuba such as Pinnacle compared the the green turtle wax slime.

Meguires Gold Class has proven to be the best for me.
