Re: front end conversion on a camaro
A few have done it. It's fairly straight forward as all the mounting points are the same. But the price for all the pieces is fairly high (unless you get a parts car). I personally like 93-97 front ends better anyways, so I opted not to do it :)~97 3.8L V6 Camaro~

Re: front end conversion on a camaro
well, junk yards around here are pretty cheap. I do like the 93-97 front end but i really love the later models with ground effects. Theres just something about it, i dont know.
Oh and i hate my headlights.

Re: front end conversion on a camaro
Don't do the conversion. If you get a SS hood or even the hood SilveRS got would probably make give your car that little something something that's missing. When I first got my 95, it always felt like it was too thin up front. And you can always hide your headlights behind headlight covers. But if you really want the catfish look, sell your car and buy one, you will be getting a better engine too. You also wouldn't have to worry so much about the paint matching.

Re: front end conversion on a camaro
by the time u spend the money, you can add it to what you could sell ur 93-97 for, and just get a 98 or so, totally do-able if ur patient and search.
and i personally hate the 98-02 front end...not aggressive looking to me at all...almost makes the front of the car seem "overweight" to me...

Re: front end conversion on a camaro
i say, if you are going to make it look like the picture on the first page, then DO IT! it looks sick
but if its not going to look exactly like that...get a new hood, def adds to the look.
