[QUOTE=iZZZ!;838081]Don't do the conversion. If you get a SS hood or even the hood SilveRS got would probably make give your car that little something something that's missing.

i agree, imo the first pic looks better, just get the ss hood and the ss spoiler on the 97 and it looks mean, the later models only look good in the v8 versions.i dont recommend doing the swap:spank:

But I never have liked 5-spokes on a camaro.

I say if its what you want, go for it. When I first purchased my 97 back in 03, I truely didnt like the 98+ front ends.. but after a while it grew on me, and I kinda fell out of love for the 97-.I purchased everything for the front end. Got the bumper, fenders and stock hood for $250. I think I spent appx $500 excluding the newer OEM bumper and aftermarket ss hood. but again, Im rebuilding an 01 camaro and trashed the 97 project.

People will tell ya, go for it, or dont even think about it. Its your car. your choice. I say try it out, if you dont like it, sell it but keep your old parts just in case. if you like it, sell your old parts and try to recover from what you spent.

MISC: 01 parts. Some interior, T top kit, seats etc.

considering the OP was asking this 6 months ago, I think he probably reached a decision, some time ago

For the person who posted the pictures of their white Camaro. Looks like theres a gap between the bumper and the fender. It's driving me nuts.

And there are those that can dump a bunch of money into a car, and make it look worse.

My personal opinion it would only make sense if you own a 97 because its got the 98-02 interior and all it needs is the front end.

Theres just something about that catfish front end I don't like.

for me personally, I bought my car new in 1995 and after 13 years, I thought it was time for a facelift.
