I was driving home today and my SES light came on.
checked my gauges and they're fine. temp, oil, ect. People have mentioned that a loose gas cap will light it, but I haven't even put gas in it in a week. The only thing that I've changed on her in about a week is I washed it last night.
yeh...
I don't really think that could be an issue either, its not like I cleaned the engine bay, exterior only. I haven't even vacuumed recently. but just for reference:
I got the oil changed about a month ago, put a K&n on last weekend,
checked oil, fluids, and tire pressure on tuesday, and washed it yesterday. The car's running better than ever (which leads me to believe some emissions crap might be dying, but its probably just the fuel trims picking up on the kn filter). The only thing that concerns me is the coolant looked a little bit funky but the level was fine and temperature hasn't been an issue.
anyway. the only thing that really makes sense is the wash.
I guess I'm gonna unplug the battery for a awhile and see if it goes away, maybe some sensor got wet and isn't happy.
