  • Takeing Sail pannel and molding off and back on

If I take my sail pannels and side molding off to paint, what do I use to put it back on? I may just leave the molding off if it looks ok under it.

what side molding?? Do you mean the kick panels?

They come of and go on using philips head screws... 4 on the passenger side, and 5 on the drivers side.

The sail panels go on with one clip in the coat hanger, two screws up top on the t-bar if you have them, and some industrial grade velcro that you won't need to replace. Just using a small flathead to pop the clip out of the coat hanger, open your t-tops, unscrew both philips head screws on the rear edge, and then pull the sail panels off.

all of this has to be done after you've removed your seats. Front ones at least.

I think were talking about different parts, I'm talking about the stuff on the sides that goes across from one wheel well to the other, and the little triangle thing behind the windows, I think they both go on with adhesive

The molding he's talking about, is the side molding that goes from the back of the front wheel well, over the door, all the way to the front of the rear wheel well.

just make sure ITS TOTALLY CLEAN! lol any dirt, moisture will LITERALLY make it degrade and fall apart. It sucks. lol Other than that, its great stuff.
