Can anyone tell me if these are true HID headlights? they are those dual halo lights, but it says it is H3 hid with a conversion kit...I don't know much about HID...any help is appreciated...

They're not HID's but they are HID Projector Headlight Assemblies, meaning they project the bright lights that you might have towards the ground instead of into peoples eyes.
I have the original Halo (Angel Eye) Lenses and I just bought an 8000k HID Kit for my Camaro. I'll take some pictures tomorrow for you.

They aren't HID Projectors by definition, they are just projectors, which in essence is the same idea but certified HID projectors are harder to come by and require better optics and housings. But it's better to put HID in any type of projector over a standard free form.
im confused, sorry. it says they come with h3 hid kit...let me know.

those are true HID but poor quality and not the entire kit needed to get them functioning.....to convert it fully you will need the ballast and all the other HID acc. you might want to do some more research into this before buying.
not to jack the thread or anything but do you have to get hids if you get halos? ive been wanting halos but dont feel like dealing with the headache of hids

No the halos come with the standard 9006/9005 bulbs. HIDs are an option but really only if you get the projector halos would I even think of getting HIDs. I've got the projector halos and a HID kit to install, just waiting for some free time
