buy a powdercoated one. I've painted mine twice now and it's chipped to hell. Hopefully I'll be getting hold of a powdercoater soon though and I can do it right.

I'm going to go against the crowd and say that I prefer the billet. The black one seems to disappear in that picture, although like stevethepirate said, it goes better with your wheels. If you're going for the 'murdered out' look, go with black. If you're considering stripes, go with the billet.
