boot, balls man, balls. a circular saw! lol
I just got my glass in today. I waited 4 months for the perfect deal and I got it. $162 shipped for a pr of FLAWLESS tops. now im just waiting on Reks strips and screws, and IM tackling it.
Archer
seriously, its not hard at all....I used the circular saw with a metal cutting blade as well :P. Mine looks really good right now, but I'm gonna probably redo it all because i made the channel a little too skinny and the weather stripping bunches at the back corners a little and it aggravates me. I'll post pics tomorrow or something of how it looks close up.
But for the mean time...
it took me like a week working a little bit at a time. Know how to actually do it after having done it...i could definitely do it in a whole 24 hours....not counting fixing the leaky spots and making the bondo wall..i think my weatherstripping has some tiny tears in the back corners and its making me mad so i'll probably have to get new weather stripping eventually. i love having t tops though, it makes the ride so much more enjoyable.
2 solid days, but at the same time we were putting an LT1 back together.
I got my headliner like a week later. I got ****ed over on buying one from Ebay, I think the seller realized how much it cost to actually ship.
But I got one locally just traded some free movie tickets for it.
hell yeah. haha
i got mine for 20 bucks off a guy i know who totaled his, it amazingly was the same color as my interior and in perfect condition, just some glass on it. i really need to get the things that you put in the hatch to hold the t tops..
