Post up your t-top conv pics

Still contemplating this mod, i did alot of searching and saw meaty's pics but alot of pics were no longer available. So post up what you got. Preferebly where the tops meet the arch. I've seen i think it was oibirds car the bondo wall but wanted to see a few others.

hey tom, I have the things to do it, im just waiting for reckle33 to send the strips once he is paid, and couple people from ebay. once I get all my things and my girls SUV fixed, the camaro is going under the knife, i'll post some pics as I go.

Im curious to see how people finished the body work on it. or if they just left it. I dont plan on having any leaks.. but its on my list of things to do, and its going to be done soon, because Im going to prep it for paint.

Thats what i want to see. if it looks like a hack job its not going to be anywhere near my car. Its hard enough to find a 97 like mine

hey tomrs, i just have 1 piece of advice...get a picture of what it is supposed to look like when its done. You can do it as long as you know what it is supposed to look like. thats my .02..

whats your email, reckl3ss sent me pics of his car after he took my weather stripping off, I asked for an all around photo so I know what I need to do to replicate it.
I'd put it on here, but I dont want to mess around with the photobucket..

here is what mine looked like before i had a chance to bondo anything




with a little bondo and paint. did a crappy job sanding the bondo down, but you get the point





i could of done a much better job with the bondo, but i was rushed. but at least there arent any leaks

and this was all done back in the day when no one ever really though about doing t-top conversions, so i would expect you could do a slightly better job

For being the first few to do it.... I think it looks very good. Even now, looks decent.

thanks for the pics. how noticable is that line where you cut the roof ? looks like a gap there

hey tom i was thinking the same thing. I was going to use evercoat its a body filler thats about $30 a tube. its SOOO MUCH nicer than bondo, and easier to work with.

I'll post recks pics of his FACTORY set up. the t top panel comes down a little. I was going to cut back the top panel up a little and roll it down to help smooth that gap out. I got my girls truck running, no leaks but it still idles rough..

once everything comes in, im going to work on the t tops.
