We've had really good luck with the carbon fiber roof, doors, trunklid, and spoiler on the evo. Loading it in the trailer for events typically involves me pushing it by the trunk lid, and that shows no wear or stress. There is a big difference between good carbon fiber and bad carbon fiber.

I'm curious why you think a 1000awhp car can't be a daily driver? It gets driven to our office plenty. Turbo cars are a wholly different animal! It probably only makes 200ish hp on motor! It doesn't get buck wild and rowdy until the boost starts coming on strong.
usually 600ish is hard to handle...but I suppose cause it doesnt kick in until boost thats fine lol...Im just saying what about stones flying up at the car?...just wanna make it know I heard they can be brittle....whats the weight difference anyways?

Do you have a problem with rocks randomly flying up towards your car? I sure don't. Tell ya what, call it a myth and send it to mythbusters.

I here you on that, I hate driving behind or even driving close to trucks. I have paint chips everywhere on the front and on the side mirrors also. I just got it repainted last June. Fu!king trucks, also the lifted trucks with no muds flaps.

FG really isn't that brittle. It is, but it is in a technical material sense, but you make it sound fragile. If its a big enough blow to crack fiberglass, it'll put a sizeable dent in steel.

Exactly. And if it'll crack fiberglass, odds are it will nick the hell out of CF.

here are a bunch of diffrent hoods, the 93-97 have a CF cowl induction hood. you could maybe call and see if they got them for the 98+ as well.
