nice - i did the same during the winter but no matter how much prep i did to the wheel the paint just didnt last and started to chip. I did it twice. looks good though

Looks like my buddies old wheels on his camaro. I liked them on his orange car and they look pretty darn good on a white one too! :)

how do you polish the lip if the wheel isnt chrome?

if its aluminum or mag you just shine it up a lot. Old post though

If the lip is painted, sand off the paint and then step up the grit to 800-1000 then use some aluminum polish. The salad shooter lip is unpainted, I haven't looked up close on the newer wheels.
